Almost Done
I was so worried when I realized Lilly Loo, just a yearling was bred. Well, my worry was for naught. This is what I found last night. Momma and baby girl are doing fine. Only one more Shetland to lamb and lambing season will be over. PHEW.
My young ladies have been good mamas, and even several had twins and kept them together and got them fed by themselves. Yes, I am glad we are done so I don't have to worry about lambs being born in all this rain!
I am a retired first grade teacher who now devotes her time to raising sheep and selling fiber. My kids Molly 21 and Tim 23 are the best part of my life though. Molly and I travel together and enjoy sheep shows and gymnastic events. Tim coaches swimming while working on his MA.
