Tiny BFL Ewes
These 2 were born to a BFL yearling on Sunday. Wish mom had had one 10 pounder instead of 2 just barely 5 pounds each. They get cold easily so the felted sweater sleeve jackets keep them warm.
Oh they are precious with their little woolly jumpers! Congratulations on all of your new lambs. What a wonderful time of the year! I was watching the BBC last night where they're doing a week long program on the lambing season. 'Lambing Live' follows lambing on a 900-ewe farm in South Wales. I enjoyed having a little peak at such a big working farm.
I am a retired first grade teacher who now devotes her time to raising sheep and selling fiber. My kids Molly 21 and Tim 23 are the best part of my life though. Molly and I travel together and enjoy sheep shows and gymnastic events. Tim coaches swimming while working on his MA.
